GOTTFRIED -- read once and referred to the Committee on Economic Development -- recommitted to the Committee on Economic Development in accordance with Assembly Rule 3, sec. 2 -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee AN ACT to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to a license to sell liquor at retail for consumption on certain premises The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Subdivision 7 of section 64 of the alcoholic beverage 2 control law is amended by adding a new paragraph (e-12) to read as 3 follows: 4 (e-12) Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (a) of this subdi- 5 vision, the authority may issue a retail license for on-premises 6 consumption for a premises which shall be located within two hundred 7 feet of a building occupied as a church, synagogue or other place of 8 worship, provided such premises constitute a premises for the sale of 9 food or beverages at retail for consumption on the premises located 10 wholly within the boundaries of the borough of Manhattan in the city and 11 county of New York, bounded and described as follows: 12 All that certain tract, piece or parcel of land situate in the City of 13 New York, Borough of Manhattan, County of New York, State of New York, 14 known as Paramount Plaza as represented on a map entitled "EXISTING 15 BUILDING FOOTPRINT" dated January 2, 2019 as prepared by Maser Consult- 16 ing and being more particularly bounded and described as follows: 17 BEGINNING at a point on the northeasterly interior wall corner; thence 18 along the easterly wall the following five (5) courses and distances: 19 1. South 00°00'00" East 16.85 feet to a point; 20 2. North 90°00'00" West 4.50 feet to a point; 21 3. South 00°00'00" East 5.38 feet to a point; 22 4. South 00°00'00" East 48.35 feet to a point on the southerly interi- 2 or wall; thence along said southerly wall North 90°00'00" West, a 3 distance of 40.38 feet to a point on the exterior face of the existing 4 retail space; thence along the exterior face South 00°00'00" East, a 5 distance of 1.42 feet to a point on proposed exterior dining area, 6 thence along said proposed exterior dining area the following three (3) 7 courses and distances: 8 1. North 90°00'00" West 13.71 feet to a point; 9 2. North 00°00'00" East 75.51 feet to a point; 10 3. North 90°00'00" East 13.71 feet to a point on the exterior face of 11 the existing retail space; thence along the exterior face South 12 00°00'00" East, a distance of 3.50 feet to a point; thence along the 13 northerly interior wall North 90°00'00" East 47.63 feet to the point of 14 beginning, containing 4,023± square feet. 15 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
