       AN  ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to fees
         for licenses for disabled persons injured in the course of World Trade
         Center rescue activities or cleanup operations
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  Section  11-0715 of the environmental conservation law is
    2  amended by adding a new subdivision 8 to read as follows:
    3    8. A RESIDENT OF THE STATE WHO IS OTHERWISE ENTITLED TO  EXERCISE  THE
    4  PRIVILEGES  OF  ANY LICENSE TO WHICH THIS SECTION APPLIES, AND WHO HAS A
    5  DISABILITY OCCURRING AS A RESULT OF WORLD TRADE CENTER RESCUE ACTIVITIES
    6  OR CLEANUP OPERATIONS, SHALL BE ENTITLED TO RECEIVE SUCH LICENSE FREE OF
    7  COST.
    8    S 2. This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day  after  it  shall
    9  have become a law.
