       AN ACT to amend chapter 625 of the laws of 2008, amending  the  environ-
         mental  conservation  law  relating  to the management and disposal of
         drugs, in relation to the effectiveness thereof
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1. Section 3 of chapter 625 of the laws of 2008, amending the
    2  environmental conservation law relating to the management  and  disposal
    3  of drugs, is amended to read as follows:
    4    S 3. This act shall take effect on the one hundred eightieth day after
    5  it  shall have become a law; provided, however, that section two of this
    6  act shall expire on December 31, [2010] 2012.
    7    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
