       AN  ACT to amend part L of a chapter of the laws of 2010 relating to the
         effectiveness and applicability  of  certain  provisions  of  law,  as
         proposed  in  legislative  bill  numbers  S.  6608-B and A. 9708-C, in
         relation to making technical corrections
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Section 1 of part L of a chapter of the laws of 2010 relat-
    2  ing to the effectiveness and applicability of certain provisions of law,
    3  as  proposed  in  legislative  bill  numbers S. 6608-B and A. 9708-C, is
    4  amended to read as follows:
    5    Section 1. Notwithstanding the requirements of sections 16 and  17  of
    6  chapter 20 of the laws of 2010 relating to making appropriations for the
    7  support  of  government,  and repeal thereof, section 8 of chapter 20 of
    8  the laws of 2010, providing an appropriation to the division of  housing
    9  and  community  renewal within such section shall be deemed to have been
   10  in full force and effect on and after April 1, 2010  through  March  31,
   11  2011,  and  provided  further, that section 8 of chapter [110] 20 of the
   12  laws of 2010 shall be deemed for all purposes to have the same effect as
   13  final legislative action upon appropriations submitted by  the  governor
   14  in budget bills for the purposes identified in those appropriations.
   15    S  2.  This  act  shall  take  effect on the same date and in the same
   16  manner as section 1 of part L of a chapter of the laws of 2010  relating
   17  to  the effectiveness and applicability of certain provisions of law, as
   18  proposed in legislative bill numbers S.  6608-B  and  A.  9708-C,  takes
   19  effect.
