        COMMEMORATING  the  40th  Anniversary  of Coldwell
        Banker Faith Properties

  WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to  recognize  the
achievements   of  those  individuals  and  businesses  that  contribute
substantially to the economic vitality  of  their  communities,  thereby
enhancing the economic well-being of the entire Empire State; and

  WHEREAS,  Attendant  to  such  concern,  and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this  Legislative  Body  is  justly  proud  to
commemorate  the 40th Anniversary of Coldwell Banker Faith Properties in
Utica, New York; and

  WHEREAS, Founded as Faith Properties, Inc., in 1982, Coldwell Banker
Faith Properties became one of the first Coldwell Banker franchises  two
years  later; the Utica location is the oldest Coldwell Banker franchise
in New York State; and

  WHEREAS, In 2007, John Brown, the  company's  top  agent,  purchased
Coldwell Banker Faith Properties from its original owners; and

  WHEREAS,  Since  2007, Coldwell Banker Faith Properties has expanded
from 18 agents to more than 50 and has tripled the number of homes  sold
which is more than 1,000 per year; and

  WHEREAS, In 2014, Coldwell Banker Faith Properties received an award
from  Coldwell Banker, honoring the franchise as the top-selling office,
for its size, in North America; and

  WHEREAS, In early 2016, offices in Rome and Ilion  were  opened  for
business;  for  2016  and  2017,  the  Utica office earned the award for
achieving  its  status  as  one  of  Coldwell   Banker's   International
President's Elite offices; and

  WHEREAS,  The  agents  of  Coldwell  Banker  Faith  Properties  have
volunteered to  operate  a  water  station  for  the  Utica  Boilermaker
annually for more than 30 years; and

  WHEREAS,  Throughout its 40 years as a real estate company, Coldwell
Banker Faith Properties  and  its  agents  have  never  been  cited  for
violating  the  Realtor's  Code of Ethics which has been the standard of
conduct for ethical and professional real estate practices for more than
100 years; and

  WHEREAS, In many recent years, Coldwell Banker Faith Properties  has
assisted  more  customers  to  attain  their goals of buying and selling
homes than  the  second,  third,  and  fourth  top-selling  real  estate
brokerages combined; and

  WHEREAS,  The  progression of Coldwell Banker Faith Properties is in
direct correlation to the efforts of its  owners  and  employees,  whose
involvement  is,  and  always  has  been, characterized by an impressive
commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising  standard  of

excellence  in all endeavors on behalf of the business and the community
it serves; and

  WHEREAS,  It  is  with  great  pleasure  that  this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business, its contributions to  the  local
and  State  economies,  and its vibrant role in improving the quality of
life in its community, fully confident that it will  continue  to  enjoy
the sparkling success it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be it

  RESOLVED,  That  this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Coldwell  Banker  Faith  Properties;
and be it further

  RESOLVED,  That  a  copy  of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Coldwell Banker Faith Properties.
