RAMOS -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Investigations and Govern- ment Operations AN ACT to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to authorizing the issuance of a temporary retail permit by the state liquor authority to licensees located in a municipality having a popu- lation of one million or more persons The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subdivision 1 of section 97-a of the alco- 2 holic beverage control law, as added by chapter 396 of the laws of 2010, 3 is amended to read as follows: 4 (b) to the applicant for a new retail license [where the prospective5licensed premises is located in a municipality with a population of less6than one million during the period that the application is pending]. 7 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that 8 the amendments to paragraph (b) of subdivision 1 of section 97-a of the 9 alcoholic beverage control law made by section one of this act shall not 10 affect the repeal of such paragraph and shall be deemed repealed there- 11 with.
