        Introduced  by  Sen. AMEDORE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Finance
        AN ACT making an appropriation to the  environmental  facilities  corpo-
          ration for emergency municipal drinking water, wastewater and stormwa-
          ter infrastructure grants
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. The sum of one hundred million  dollars  ($100,000,000)  is
     2  hereby  appropriated  to the environmental facilities corporation out of
     3  any moneys in the state treasury in  the  general  fund,  not  otherwise
     4  appropriated,  and  made  immediately  available,  for  the  purposes of
     5  providing emergency municipal drinking water, wastewater and  stormwater
     6  infrastructure  grants  for  infrastructure  projects  where there is an
     7  imminent threat to the environment and/or the public health. Such moneys
     8  shall be payable on the audit and warrant of the comptroller on vouchers
     9  certified or approved by the environmental facilities corporation.
    10    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
