        AN  ACT  to  amend  the  executive law and the general municipal law, in
          relation to prohibiting the provision of assistance in the enforcement
          of certain United States Executive Orders relating to  protecting  the
          nation from foreign terrorist entry, within the state
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law to  the  contrary,  no
     2  employee  or  officer  of  the port authority of New York and New Jersey
     3  shall provide any aid, resources, assistance, or support to any  federal
     4  employee  or representative in enforcing the provisions of United States
     5  Executive Orders issued on January 27, 2017 and March 6, 2017  regarding
     6  Protecting  the  Nation  from  Foreign  Terrorist  Entry into the United
     7  States, nor may any resources or facilities of the port authority of New
     8  York and New Jersey be used for such purpose.
     9    § 2. The provisions of this act shall only apply to any  employees  or
    10  officers of the port authority of New York and New Jersey working within
    11  the  boundaries of the state of New York and shall only apply on proper-
    12  ties wholly within the boundaries of the state of New York.
    13    § 3. The executive law is amended by adding a new section 233 to  read
    14  as follows:
    15    §  233.  Port authority immigration participation. Notwithstanding any
    16  provision of law to the contrary, no member of  the  division  of  state
    17  police  shall  provide  any aid, resources, assistance or support to any
    18  federal employee or representative enforcing the  provisions  of  United

     1  States  Executive  Orders issued on January twenty-seventh, two thousand
     2  seventeen and March sixth, two thousand seventeen  regarding  Protecting
     3  the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States.
     4    §  4.  The  general  municipal  law is amended by adding a new section
     5  205-h to read as follows:
     6    § 205-h. Port authority immigration  participation.    Notwithstanding
     7  any  provision  of law to the contrary, no police officers employed by a
     8  city with a population of one million or more  shall  provide  any  aid,
     9  resources,  assistance  or  support to any federal employee or represen-
    10  tative in enforcing the provision  of  United  States  Executive  Orders
    11  issued  on  January  twenty-seventh,  two  thousand  seventeen and March
    12  sixth, two thousand  seventeen  regarding  Protecting  the  Nation  from
    13  Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States.
    14    §  5.  This  act shall take effect immediately and shall apply only in
    15  the state of New York in a matter consistent with  chapter  154  of  the
    16  laws of 1921.
