        AN ACT to amend the social services law, in relation to  increasing  the
          standards  of  monthly  need  for  eligible persons receiving enhanced
          residential care

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Paragraph (e) of subdivision 2 of section 209 of the social
     2  services  law,  as  amended  by section 2 of part K of chapter 56 of the
     3  laws of 2020, is amended to read as follows:
     4    (e) [On and after] (i) (1) From January first, two thousand twenty  to
     5  March thirty-first, two thousand twenty-one, [(i)] for an eligible indi-
     6  vidual  receiving  enhanced  residential care, $1,477.00; and [(ii)] (2)
     7  for an eligible couple receiving enhanced residential  care,  two  times
     8  the  amount  set  forth  in clause one of this subparagraph [(i) of this
     9  paragraph].
    10    (ii) (1) From April first, two thousand twenty-one  to  March  thirty-
    11  first,  two  thousand  twenty-two,  for an eligible individual receiving
    12  enhanced residential care, $1597.00; and  (2)  for  an  eligible  couple
    13  receiving  enhanced  residential care, two times the amount set forth in
    14  clause one of this subparagraph.
    15    (iii) (1) From April first, two thousand twenty-two to  March  thirty-
    16  first,  two  thousand twenty-three, for an eligible individual receiving
    17  enhanced residential care, $1717.00; and  (2)  for  an  eligible  couple
    18  receiving  enhanced  residential care, two times the amount set forth in
    19  clause one of this subparagraph.
    20    (iv) (1) From April first, two thousand twenty-three to March  thirty-
    21  first,  two  thousand  twenty-four, for an eligible individual receiving
    22  enhanced residential care, $1837.00; and  (2)  for  an  eligible  couple
    23  receiving  enhanced  residential care, two times the amount set forth in
    24  clause one of this subparagraph.

     1    (v) (1) From April first, two thousand twenty-four  to  March  thirty-
     2  first,  two  thousand  twenty-five, for an eligible individual receiving
     3  enhanced residential care, $1957.00; and  (2)  for  an  eligible  couple
     4  receiving  enhanced  residential care, two times the amount set forth in
     5  clause one of this subparagraph.
     6    (vi)  (1)  On  and after April first, two thousand twenty-five, for an
     7  eligible individual receiving enhanced residential care,  $2077.00;  and
     8  (2)  for  an  eligible  couple  receiving enhanced residential care, two
     9  times the amount set forth in clause one of this subparagraph.
    10    § 2. This act shall take effect April 1, 2021.
