       Introduced  by  Sen.  SERINO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
         printed to be committed to the Committee on Transportation -- reported
         favorably from said committee, ordered to  first  and  second  report,
         ordered  to  a third reading, amended and ordered reprinted, retaining
         its place in the order of third reading
       AN ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in  relation  to  expanding
         the  residential  parking system in the village of Cold Spring, county
         of Putnam
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1. Subdivision 2 of section 1640-h of the vehicle and traffic
    2  law, as added by chapter 501 of the laws of 2003, is amended to read  as
    3  follows:
    4    2.  Such  residential  parking  permit  system may only be established
    5  within the area of the village consisting of the following  roadways  on
    6  the west side of the metro north train station: Main Street, New Street,
    7  West Street, Fish Street and Market Street AND ON THE FOLLOWING ROADWAYS
    8  ON  THE  EAST  SIDE  OF  THE  METRO NORTH TRAIN STATION: FURNACE STREET,
    9  GARDEN STREET, HIGH STREET, KEMBLE  AVENUE  FROM  MAIN  STREET  TO  WALL
   10  STREET,  RAILROAD  AVENUE,  STONE STREET, CHURCH STREET, HALDANE STREET,
   11  ROCK STREET, CROSS STREET AND NORTHERN AVENUE.
   12    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
