        Introduced  by  Sen.  JACOBS -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Cultural Affairs, Tourism,
          Parks and Recreation
        AN ACT to amend chapter 595 of the laws  of  2007  amending  the  parks,
          recreation  and historic preservation law relating to establishing the
          Michigan Street  African  American  Heritage  Corridor  commission  in
          Buffalo, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 595 of the laws of 2007, amending  the
     2  parks, recreation and historic preservation law relating to establishing
     3  the  Michigan  Street  African  American Heritage Corridor commission in
     4  Buffalo, as amended by chapter 390 of the laws of 2015,  is  amended  to
     5  read as follows:
     6    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately, provided that section two
     7  of  this  act  shall  expire  and be deemed repealed December 31, [2017]
     8  2019.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
