SAVINO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Cultural Affairs, Tourism, Parks and Recreation -- reported favorably from said committee, ordered to first and second report, ordered to a third reading, amended and ordered reprinted, retaining its place in the order of third reading AN ACT relating to the placement of navigational aids adjacent to real property designated as "Coney Island" The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The commissioner, as defined in subdivision two of section 2 two of the navigation law, in order to deter violations of paragraph f 3 of subdivision one of section 73-a of the navigation law, by personal 4 watercraft, may, through the issuance of a revocable permit, authorize 5 the placing of aids to navigation within five hundred feet of any desig- 6 nated bathing area adjacent to all real property designated as "Coney 7 Island." Any personal watercraft operator found to be operating within 8 the area between the bathing beach and the navigational aid shall be 9 subject to the penalties provided in subdivision three of section 73-a 10 of the navigation law. 11 § 2.
