HARCKHAM -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Investigations and Govern- ment Operations -- reported favorably from said committee, ordered to first and second report, ordered to a third reading, amended and ordered reprinted, retaining its place in the order of third reading AN ACT to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to providing the village of Ossining, Westchester county, with the abili- ty to set restrictions on the hours of sale of alcoholic beverages at retail for on-premises consumption The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 106 of the alcoholic beverage control law is 2 amended by adding a new subdivision 5-a to read as follows: 3 5-a. Notwithstanding any provision of law, rule or regulation to the 4 contrary, the provisions of subdivision five of this section shall not 5 be construed to prohibit the village of Ossining, Westchester county, 6 from imposing restrictions on the hours alcoholic beverages may be sold, 7 offered for sale or given away upon any premises licensed to sell alco- 8 holic beverages at retail for on-premises consumption by local law, 9 ordinance, or resolution which are more restrictive than the provisions 10 set forth in such subdivision. 11 § 2.
