It is an editor's brief statement of the essential features of the measure as introduced. Directs Department of Revenue to prepare 'Oregon Annual Review,' describing how state has spent tax revenues in preceding calendar year. Directs Secretary of State to distribute by mail Oregon Annual Review with primary election state voters' pamphlet. A BILL FOR AN ACT Relating to annual report to taxpayers. Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon: SECTION 1. { + (1) As used in this section, 'Oregon Annual Review' means a publication that describes the manner in which the state has spent tax revenues in the preceding calendar year and the number of people who have been served. (2) The Department of Revenue shall cause the Oregon Annual Review to be compiled and printed annually. (3) Beginning in 2012, the Secretary of State shall include a copy of the current Oregon Annual Review with each copy of the primary election state voters' pamphlet required under ORS 251.026 that is mailed to voters. + } ----------
