Directs President of Senate and Speaker of House of Representatives to refer bills containing tax expenditures to Joint Committee on Ways and Means. A BILL FOR AN ACT Relating to tax expenditures. Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon: SECTION 1. { + (1) The President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives shall refer each bill that creates, modifies, maintains or repeals a tax expenditure to the Joint Committee on Ways and Means. (2) Subsection (1) of this section does not prevent the President or Speaker from referring a bill described in subsection (1) of this section to an additional committee or committees of the Legislative Assembly. (3) As used in this section, 'tax expenditure' has the meaning given that term in ORS 291.201. + } ----------
