Directs Department of Transportation to provide Travel Information Council with resources necessary to manage and maintain, for duration of 2011-2013 biennium, roadside rest area located along U.S. Highway 26, westbound, near milepost 54. Declares emergency, effective on passage. A BILL FOR AN ACT Relating to travel; and declaring an emergency. Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon: SECTION 1. { + The Department of Transportation shall provide the Travel Information Council created under ORS 377.835 with the resources necessary for the council to manage and maintain, for the duration of the 2011-2013 biennium, the roadside rest area located along U.S. Highway 26, westbound, near milepost 54. + } SECTION 2. { + This 2012 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2012 Act takes effect on its passage. + } ----------
