Requires state employees who participate in benefit plan provided by state to contribute 15 percent of cost of premiums for coverage. A BILL FOR AN ACT Relating to payment of premiums for benefit plan provided to state employees. Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon: SECTION 1. { + Section 2 of this 2011 Act is added to and made a part of ORS 243.105 to 243.285. + } SECTION 2. { + (1) Notwithstanding any other provision of ORS 243.105 to 243.285, an eligible employee who participates in a benefit plan shall contribute 15 percent of the premium expense for the coverage provided. (2) A collective bargaining agreement between the State of Oregon and the exclusive representative of public employees must require that an eligible employee who participates in a benefit plan contribute 15 percent of the premium expense for the coverage provided. + } SECTION 3. { + Section 2 of this 2011 Act applies to agreements entered into on or after the effective date of this 2011 Act. + } ----------
