No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Section 2054.113(c) of the Government Code to require agencies to notify the Department of Information Resources (DIR) of its intent to bid with a third-party for development of native mobile applications which duplicates a function of the state electronic Internet portal. Based on the analysis provided by the Department of Information Resources, it is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
