No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Section 111.0047 of the Tax Code, relating to the suspension or revocation of a permit or license.
The bill would allow the Comptroller to deliver through electronic means notice of a hearing to suspend or revoke a permit or license. Notice of the hearing would be addressed to the holder's e-mail address as it appears in the Comptroller's records.
The Comptroller of Public Accounts indicates the bill would have no revenue implications for the state or units of local government and that amended Subsection 111.0047 (d) is mis-numbered as 111.0047 (b) in the bill..
The bill would take effect September 1, 2021.
