No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Natural Resource Code to allow the Railroad Commission to contract with a proctoring service to prepare, administer, and grade or review the mandatory examination required to a hold a liquefied petroleum gas license in Texas. The bill would also remove the ability for a contracted testing service to administer the examination before remitting the nonrefundable fee to the Railroad Commission.
Based on information provided by the Comptroller of Public Accounts, no significant fiscal implications to the state are anticipated.
Based on information provided by the Railroad Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources.
