relating to the authority of the commissioner of agriculture to | ||
approve the testing and sale of certain aviation gasoline. | ||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Chapter 17, Agriculture Code, is amended by | ||
adding Subchapter E to read as follows: | ||
SUBCHAPTER E. AVAILABILITY OF CERTAIN AVIATION GASOLINE | ||
Sec. 17.201. APPROVAL OF SUBSTITUTE AVIATION GASOLINE. If | ||
the sale of 100 octane low lead aviation gasoline is not allowed in | ||
this state, the commissioner by rule shall provide for the testing | ||
and sale in this state of 95 octane aviation gasoline without added | ||
alcohol. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | ||
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | ||
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | ||
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | ||
Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
