| relating to parties who may bring suit under the Texas Free | ||
| Enterprise and Antitrust Act of 1983. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 15.21, Business & Commerce Code, is | ||
| amended by adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: | ||
| (d) A person whose business or property has been injured by | ||
| reason of any conduct prohibited or declared unlawful by this | ||
| chapter may sue another person as provided by this section, | ||
| regardless of whether the injured person dealt directly or | ||
| indirectly with the defendant. | ||
| SECTION 2. Section 15.21(d), Business & Commerce Code, as | ||
| added by this Act, applies only to a cause of action that occurred | ||
| on or after the effective date of this Act. | ||
| SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | ||
| a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | ||
| provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | ||
| Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | ||
| Act takes effect September 1, 2015. | ||
