| relating to the exception under the public information law for | ||
| certain information held by a school district. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 552.135, Government Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (d-1) to read as follows: | ||
| (d-1) Except as provided by Subsection (e) and Section | ||
| 552.108, information excepted under Subsection (b) shall be made | ||
| available to an employee or former employee who is the subject of a | ||
| report made by an informer if the report is used as the basis for the | ||
| evaluation of or a disciplinary action against the employee or | ||
| former employee. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | ||
| a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | ||
| provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | ||
| Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | ||
| Act takes effect September 1, 2013. | ||
