| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Chapter 1904, Occupations Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subchapter C to read as follows: | ||
| SUBCHAPTER C. PRACTICE BY CERTIFICATE HOLDER | ||
| Sec. 1904.101. TREATMENT OF CERTAIN WATER. (a) For | ||
| purposes of this section, "graywater" and "alternative onsite | ||
| water" have the meanings assigned by Section 341.039, Health and | ||
| Safety Code. | ||
| (b) A person who holds a certificate issued by the | ||
| commission under the program established under this chapter may | ||
| treat graywater and alternative onsite water. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. | ||
