| relating to the dedication of certain fee revenue to automobile | ||
| burglary and theft prevention and establishing a trust fund for the | ||
| deposit of that revenue. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 10(e), Article 4413(37), Revised | ||
| Statutes, is amended to read as follows: | ||
| (e) Fifty percent of each fee collected under Subsection (b) | ||
| shall be deposited to the credit of a trust fund in the state | ||
| treasury. Money in the trust fund may be appropriated only to the | ||
| authority for the purposes of this article. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | ||
| a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | ||
| provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | ||
| Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | ||
| Act takes effect September 1, 2015 | ||
