relating to the dedication of certain fee revenue to automobile | ||
burglary and theft prevention and establishing a trust fund for the | ||
deposit of that revenue. | ||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Section 10(e), Article 4413(37), Revised | ||
Statutes, is amended to read as follows: | ||
(e) Fifty percent of each fee collected under Subsection (b) | ||
shall be deposited to the credit of a trust fund in the state | ||
treasury. Money in the trust fund may be appropriated only to the | ||
authority for the purposes of this article. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | ||
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | ||
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | ||
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | ||
Act takes effect September 1, 2015 | ||
