| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 314.003, Government Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: | ||
| (d) If a revised fiscal note is prepared for the same | ||
| version of a bill or resolution, the revised fiscal note and the | ||
| fiscal note that was revised must be printed and remain with the | ||
| bill or resolution in accordance with Subsections (b) and (c). In | ||
| preparing the revised fiscal note, the board must include a | ||
| statement describing the differences between the revised fiscal | ||
| note and the fiscal note being revised. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. | ||
