| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 20.091, Election Code, is amended to | ||
| read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 20.091. APPLICABILITY OF OTHER PROVISIONS. (a) The | ||
| other provisions of this chapter apply to a public library except: | ||
| (1) provisions that conflict with this subchapter; and | ||
| (2) as provided by Subsection (b). | ||
| (b) Section 20.004 does not apply to a public library. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. | ||
