A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the designation of Dr Pepper as the state soft drink.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Chapter 3101, Government Code, is amended by
adding Section 3101.014 to read as follows:
Sec. 3101.014. STATE SOFT DRINK. (a) The state soft drink
is Dr Pepper.
(b) This section expires September 1, 2031.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021.
