| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 54.003, Health and Safety Code, as added | ||
| by Chapter 1033 (S.B. 24), Acts of the 88th Legislature, Regular | ||
| Session, 2023, is amended by adding Subsection (b-1) to read as | ||
| follows: | ||
| (b-1) Educational and informational materials provided | ||
| through the program, including lesson curricula and promotional | ||
| items: | ||
| (1) may include only medically accurate and | ||
| scientifically supported information; | ||
| (2) must be provided in a non-coercive, factual | ||
| manner; and | ||
| (3) may not explicitly endorse any religious ideology, | ||
| teaching, or practice. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. | ||
