WHEREAS, Many college graduates struggle to find work in | ||
their chosen profession, and a study to determine which degree | ||
plans are most likely to result in employment opportunities could | ||
provide valuable information to the state; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the 84th Legislature of the State of Texas | ||
hereby direct the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to | ||
conduct a study to examine the jobs that college graduates are able | ||
to attain in their degree field within two years of graduation and | ||
how effective it may be to use this information to reappropriate | ||
funding to colleges; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That the secretary of state forward an official | ||
copy of this resolution to the chair of the Texas Higher Education | ||
Coordinating Board. |
