A JOINT RESOLUTION
  proposing a constitutional amendment establishing an individual's
  right to personal reproductive autonomy.
         BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Article I, Texas Constitution, is amended by
  adding Section 37 to read as follows:
         Sec. 37.  Each individual residing in this state has the
  right to personal reproductive autonomy, and this state may not
  restrict or prohibit the exercise of that right, including the
  right to:
               (1)  obtain an abortion on or before 24 weeks
  post-fertilization;
               (2)  obtain an abortion necessary to preserve the life
  or health of a pregnant individual who is more than 24 weeks
  post-fertilization, or in accordance with an exception provided by
  general law; and
               (3)  obtain and use contraception.
         SECTION 2.  This proposed constitutional amendment shall be
  submitted to the voters at an election to be held November 4, 2025.
  The ballot shall be printed to provide for voting for or against the
  proposition: "The constitutional amendment establishing an
  individual's right to personal reproductive autonomy."
