WHEREAS, Chase Nalley was sworn in as a deputy of the Tyler | ||
County Sheriff's Office on March 6, 2017; and | ||
WHEREAS, A Tyler County native, Chase Nalley graduated from | ||
Woodville High School in 2005 and subsequently earned a bachelor's | ||
degree in government and political science from Sam Houston State | ||
University in 2010; he later returned to the county to pursue a | ||
career in law enforcement, and he completed the local police | ||
academy in December 2016; and | ||
WHEREAS, Sworn in by Sheriff Bryan Weatherford, Deputy Nalley | ||
is now set to uphold his solemn oath to advance the worthwhile | ||
mission of the sheriff's office, and his efforts are sure to be of | ||
great benefit to his fellow citizens; and | ||
WHEREAS, Chase Nalley has demonstrated an exceptional | ||
commitment to protecting the safety and welfare of the public, and | ||
he is indeed deserving of recognition as he takes on the challenges | ||
and opportunities of his new position; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Chase Nalley on being sworn in as a | ||
deputy of the Tyler County Sheriff's Office and extend to him | ||
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Deputy Nalley as an expression of high regard by the | ||
Texas House of Representatives. | ||
