R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories
  of Hector A. Licon of El Paso, who passed away on March 22, 2011, at
  the age of 93; and
         WHEREAS, Born on November 5, 1917, Hector Licon graduated
  from El Paso High School; during World War II he answered his
  nation's call to duty, serving with the U.S. Army Air Corps; he was
  a valued employee of Parker Brothers for nearly two-and-a-half
  decades; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Licon and his wife, Haydee, enjoyed a rewarding
  marriage of 64 years; they were blessed with five children, Hector,
  Frederick, Martin, Haydee, and Sandra, as well as four
  grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, A member of a generation that defended freedom at
  tremendous personal cost, Hector Licon will forever hold a
  treasured place in the hearts of all who were blessed to share in
  his love and affection; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Hector A. Licon and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
  wife, Haydee Licon; to his sons, Hector A. Licon, Jr., Frederick M.
  Licon, and Martin E. Licon; to his daughters, Haydee R. Acosta and
  Sandra Licon; to his grandchildren, Frederick Licon, Jr., Karl M.
  Licon, Yanette De Gerolami, and Marissa L. Licon; and to his other
  relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Hector A.
  Licon.
