| WHEREAS, Mark Harris has ably served his fellow Texans as an | ||
| intern in the office of State Representative Yvonne Davis during | ||
| the 88th Legislative Session; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Harris has provided | ||
| vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, | ||
| including bill research and communication with constituents; in | ||
| addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public | ||
| service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the | ||
| issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A senior at Texas State University, Mr. Harris is | ||
| pursuing a degree in public administration; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mark Harris has performed his duties as a | ||
| legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed | ||
| deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, | ||
| be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Mark Harris for serving as a legislative | ||
| intern in the office of State Representative Yvonne Davis and | ||
| extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his | ||
| endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Harris as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
