| WHEREAS, Members of the Kaffie Middle School community joined | ||
| together on March 5, 2013, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the | ||
| school's founding; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Part of the Corpus Christi Independent School | ||
| District, Kaffie Middle School has helped to provide a strong | ||
| educational foundation for area youth, and today serves more than | ||
| 900 students in the sixth through eighth grades; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The school benefits from the able leadership of | ||
| current principal Kelly Manlove and assistant principals Anna | ||
| Aguilera, Lynette Doering, and Jacob Perez III; and | ||
| WHEREAS, For 25 years, Kaffie Middle School has helped to | ||
| shape the leaders of tomorrow, and all those associated with the | ||
| institution, both past and present, can take great pride in its rich | ||
| history; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Kaffie Middle School on the 25th | ||
| anniversary of its founding and extend to its students, faculty, | ||
| and staff sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it | ||
| further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for the school as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
