WHEREAS, Captain Erick E. Erinna Sr. of the U.S. Army is being | ||
honored for his leadership as company commander of the Houston | ||
Medical Recruiting Station during his change of command ceremony on | ||
June 9, 2023; and | ||
WHEREAS, Captain Erinna will officially take on his new | ||
assignment as career manager at the Army Human Resources Command in | ||
Fort Knox, Kentucky, on June 26, 2023, bringing a wealth of | ||
experience from his current role as company commander; over the | ||
course of his two-year tenure, he has overseen targeted recruiting | ||
operations in three states, and he has supervised a team of 5 | ||
officers, 18 noncommissioned officers, and 3 civilians; under his | ||
able leadership, the company has annually commissioned more than 70 | ||
health care professionals in over 41 occupational specialties of | ||
the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Reserve; and | ||
WHEREAS, Prior to joining the Houston Medical Recruiting | ||
Company, Captain Erinna served as a deputy chief human resources | ||
officer for the 804th Medical Brigade in Massachusetts, a battalion | ||
adjutant for the 439th Multifunctional Medical Battalion in New | ||
Jersey, and a station officer in charge for the Army Medical | ||
Department in Oklahoma; his many military honors include a 2021 | ||
General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award, Recruiting Gold Badge, | ||
Recruiting Ring, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army | ||
Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and the Good | ||
Conduct Medal; and | ||
WHEREAS, Captain Erinna holds a bachelor's degree and a | ||
master's degree in business administration from Ashworth College in | ||
Norcross, Georgia; he plans to pursue a doctoral degree in | ||
business; and | ||
WHEREAS, Demonstrating an exceptional commitment to the | ||
mission of the U.S. Army, Captain Erick Erinna has greatly | ||
benefited his fellow citizens, and he may indeed reflect with pride | ||
on his outstanding record of service as he takes on the challenges | ||
and opportunities of his new position; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Captain Erick E. Erinna Sr. on his | ||
change of command and extend to him sincere best wishes for the | ||
future; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Captain Erinna as an expression of high regard by the | ||
Texas House of Representatives. | ||
