WHEREAS, Emma Claire White has ably served her fellow Texans | ||
as an intern in the office of State Representative Ann Johnson | ||
during the 88th Legislative Session; and | ||
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff in January 2023, Ms. White | ||
has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of | ||
challenging tasks, including researching legislation, | ||
corresponding with constituents, and attending hearings; in | ||
addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public | ||
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the | ||
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and | ||
WHEREAS, A student at The University of Texas at Austin, | ||
Ms. White is currently studying political science and government in | ||
the Liberal Arts Honors Program; and | ||
WHEREAS, Emma Claire White has performed her duties as a | ||
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed | ||
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, | ||
be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby commend Emma Claire White for her service as a | ||
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Ann | ||
Johnson and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success | ||
in all her endeavors; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Ms. White as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
