WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of | ||
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Hubert and Phyllis | ||
Lytle of Greenville celebrated this joyous milestone in their | ||
marriage on February 24, 2011; and | ||
WHEREAS, Hubert Lytle and the former Phyllis Rea were joined | ||
in matrimony in 1961 at a ceremony held in Greenville; through the | ||
years, they have been blessed with a treasured family that includes | ||
three children and their spouses, Brenda and Craig Smith, Steve and | ||
Heather Lytle, and Greg and Sandy Lytle, as well as six | ||
grandchildren, Travis and Shannon Smith and Ben, Jack, Rebecca, and | ||
Paige Lytle; and | ||
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. and Mrs. | ||
Lytle have resided in the Greenville area for the majority of their | ||
married life; together they owned and operated Lytle Sales and | ||
Rental until 1999, when they sold the business and retired; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lytle have enjoyed five decades of | ||
abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an | ||
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting | ||
commitment; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Hubert and Phyllis Lytle on their | ||
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes | ||
for continued happiness; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
