| WHEREAS, Gerderian Sells, an eighth grade student at | ||
| Corrigan-Camden Junior High School, excelled at the University | ||
| Interscholastic League academic meet during the 2014-2015 school | ||
| year; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Participating in the Art Smart and spelling | ||
| competitions, Gerderian earned first and fourth place honors, | ||
| respectively, and his accomplishment is a source of great pride to | ||
| his family and to his fellow students at his school; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This notable young Texan has pursued his goals with | ||
| skill and dedication, and he may indeed look forward to a future | ||
| bright with promise; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Gerderian Sells on his success in | ||
| UIL academic competition and extend to him sincere best wishes for | ||
| continued achievement; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Sells as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
