| WHEREAS, Jordan Molnar of Panhandle High School achieved an | ||
| impressive success by taking part in the 2013 University | ||
| Interscholastic League Track & Field State Meet in the 1A Division 1 | ||
| girls' long jump event; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Joining the top competitors in Texas at Mike | ||
| A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 10, Ms. Molnar turned in a notable | ||
| performance; she recorded a distance of 17 feet, 4.5 inches, to earn | ||
| fourth place and came very close to claiming a spot on the podium; | ||
| and | ||
| WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for | ||
| high school track and field athletes, Jordan Molnar has ably | ||
| represented her school, and she may cherish her memories of this | ||
| notable accomplishment for years to come; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Jordan Molnar | ||
| on her fourth-place finish in the 1A Division 1 girls' long jump | ||
| competition at the UIL Track & Field State Meet and extend to her | ||
| sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Molnar as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
