R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Dedicated professionals enrich their communities in
  countless ways, and the citizens of El Paso are fortunate indeed to
  count Charlie Gomez among their fellow residents; and
         WHEREAS, A native of the city, Mr. Gomez was born there on
  March 18, 1975, to Rogelio and Dolores Gomez; he graduated from
  Ysleta High School and went on to attend the University of Notre
  Dame, where he earned his bachelor's degree in architecture; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Gomez later returned to his hometown, and today
  he enjoys a successful career in commercial real estate as vice
  president of MIMCO, Inc.; recognized for his many achievements, he
  has been chosen as a leader of the local Notre Dame Club and been
  honored by Ysleta High School as an accomplished alumnus; and
         WHEREAS, In all of his endeavors, Mr. Gomez enjoys the love
  and support of his family, including his wife, Sylvia, and his
  daughter, Charlee Gabrielle; and
         WHEREAS, Charlie Gomez has demonstrated a commitment to
  making El Paso an even better place in which to live and work, and in
  so doing, he has earned the respect and appreciation of all who know
  him; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby honor Charlie Gomez for his
  contributions to the El Paso community and extend to him sincere
  best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Gomez as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
