WHEREAS, Allen Neel retired as the administrator of the | ||
Coryell County Road and Bridge Department on March 31, 2015, after | ||
more than two decades of dedicated service to his fellow residents; | ||
and | ||
WHEREAS, A 23-year veteran of the department, Mr. Neel | ||
counted among his many responsibilities responding to road-related | ||
crises at any hour of the day or night and helping to inspect and | ||
maintain the 625 miles of public roads and bridges in Coryell | ||
County; he has distinguished himself as administrator since 2011, | ||
earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues and the | ||
public; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. Neel joins his wife, Lynda, in retirement, and | ||
together they look forward to traveling and spending more time with | ||
family; and | ||
WHEREAS, Allen Neel's dedication, professionalism, and | ||
commitment to excellence have greatly benefited the citizens of | ||
Coryell County, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his | ||
achievements as he embarks on the next exciting chapter of his life; | ||
now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Allen Neel on his retirement as | ||
administrator of the Coryell County Road and Bridge Department and | ||
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Neel as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
