R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The Texas State Chapter of the National Association
  of Insurance and Financial Advisors is celebrating the 100th
  anniversary of its founding in 2025; and
         WHEREAS, NAIFA-Texas was established as the Texas
  Association of Life Underwriters in 1925, and it adopted its
  current name in 1999; since its inception, the organization has
  advocated in behalf of financial service professionals across the
  state; it has also worked to foster a positive legislative and
  regulatory environment, enhance business and professional skills,
  and promote the ethical conduct of its members; and
         WHEREAS, Today, NAIFA-Texas is composed of 10 local chapter
  and affiliate associations, and it represents more than 1,300
  members statewide; in addition to supporting the professional
  development of its members, the organization honors industry
  leaders through its awards program; and
         WHEREAS, Over the past century, NAIFA-Texas has played an
  instrumental role in advancing the field of insurance and financial
  services in the state, and it is a pleasure to join in recognizing
  the organization on this special occasion; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Texas
  State Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and
  Financial Advisors and extend to all those affiliated with the
  organization sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for NAIFA-Texas as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
