| WHEREAS, Five deserving individuals have been named to the | ||
| 2015 4-H Shooting Sports Texas Shotgun Team, and this | ||
| accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The members of the Shotgun Team are chosen based on a | ||
| range of factors that includes their previous experience in 4-H | ||
| Shooting Sports projects as well as their involvement in other | ||
| activities, both inside and outside of 4-H; these exemplary Texans | ||
| make up one of nine squads who will represent the state at the 2015 | ||
| 4-H Shooting Sports National Invitational taking place June 21 | ||
| through 26 in Grand Island, Nebraska; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Hailing from locations across Texas, the members of | ||
| the Shotgun Team include Chance Hunsaker of Nueces County 4-H, | ||
| Brandon Hobbs of Callahan County 4-H, Tara Creighton of Madison | ||
| County 4-H, and Melissa Barringer and Rachel Barringer of Victoria | ||
| County 4-H; this dedicated group of shooters benefits from the | ||
| expertise and encouragement of coach Richard Hodge of Guadalupe | ||
| County 4-H; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The members of the 4-H Shooting Sports Texas Shotgun | ||
| Team are fitting representatives of the Lone Star State, and they | ||
| may take justifiable pride in earning a place among the other top | ||
| 4-H shooters from around the nation; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate the members of the 2015 4-H | ||
| Shooting Sports Texas Shotgun Team and extend to them sincere best | ||
| wishes for success at the national invitational; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
