R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Dan Hernandez was reelected to Place 4 on the Cedar
  Hill Independent School District Board of Trustees in May 2011; and
         WHEREAS, A trustee since 2002, Mr. Hernandez has served with
  distinction as vice president and president of the board; prior to
  his election, he supported the district through his work on a number
  of committees; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Hernandez is employed by the Office of Inspector
  General; a valued resident of Cedar Hill for 20 years, he has held
  leadership positions with the Boy Scouts of America and with his
  parish at Holy Spirit Catholic Church; and
         WHEREAS, Throughout his tenure on the board, Mr. Hernandez
  has demonstrated a notable commitment to ensuring that Cedar Hill
  students have the opportunity to receive an exemplary education,
  and it is indeed fitting to recognize him for his dedication to
  these young Texans; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Dan Hernandez
  on his reelection to the Cedar Hill Independent School District
  Board of Trustees and extend to him sincere best wishes for
  continued success with his important work; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Hernandez as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
