| WHEREAS, The 103rd birthday of an esteemed Texan is indeed a | ||
| special occasion, and Nina Lindsey of Bertram celebrated that | ||
| milestone on March 10, 2013; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Lindsey marked the special day with a party | ||
| that was attended by numerous loved ones, including members of each | ||
| of the five generations now encompassed by her family; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Guests arrived with gifts of roses, a flower she has | ||
| loved throughout her life, and the Marble Falls Church of Christ | ||
| honored the event by presenting her with a basket containing 103 | ||
| blooms; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Nina Lindsey is a source of tremendous inspiration, | ||
| and in sharing the experience gained through more than a century of | ||
| life well lived, she bestows a precious gift of wisdom that benefits | ||
| all who are fortunate enough to know her; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Nina Lindsey on her 103rd birthday | ||
| and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, | ||
| be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mrs. Lindsey as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
