| WHEREAS, Greg Wright has served with distinction as | ||
| Republican Party precinct chair of Precinct 157 in Collin County; | ||
| and | ||
| WHEREAS, Integral to the success of their party's mission, | ||
| precinct chairs work to elect public servants who will build a | ||
| better world for current and future generations; and | ||
| WHEREAS, As precinct chair, Mr. Wright has devoted much time | ||
| and energy to providing valuable information to prospective voters, | ||
| to encouraging voters to turn out, and to conducting important | ||
| party business, and by doing so, has made lasting contributions to | ||
| Collin County; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Because public policy affects our daily lives, | ||
| citizens must exercise their right to vote, and the efforts of | ||
| precinct chairs to inspire voters to support their parties' | ||
| candidates are part of a proud and vital tradition in our state and | ||
| nation; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Greg Wright for | ||
| serving as Republican Party precinct chair of Precinct 157 in | ||
| Collin County and extend to this dedicated community leader sincere | ||
| best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Wright as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
