| WHEREAS, Scott Campbell is retiring as superintendent of the | ||
| East Chambers Independent School District in the summer of 2025, | ||
| drawing to a close an exemplary tenure that has spanned 28 years; | ||
| and | ||
| WHEREAS, A graduate of East Chambers High School, | ||
| Mr. Campbell holds a bachelor's degree in English and a master's | ||
| degree in school administration from Lamar University; in the | ||
| course of his 41 years as an educator, he has been with East | ||
| Chambers ISD for more than three decades; he also served as | ||
| superintendent of High Island ISD for two years; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Through his unwavering commitment to the students, | ||
| faculty, and staff of East Chambers ISD, Scott Campbell has led the | ||
| way in fostering a supportive and challenging educational | ||
| environment, and he may indeed reflect with pride on a career well | ||
| spent as he embarks on the next exciting chapter of his life; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Scott Campbell on his retirement as | ||
| superintendent of the East Chambers Independent School District and | ||
| extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Campbell as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
