R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, School boards play a crucial role in meeting the
  diverse educational needs of the children in their districts, and
  Russel CeBallos is indeed deserving of recognition for his service
  as vice president of the Sanger Independent School District; and
         WHEREAS, The mission of public schools throughout the state
  and nation is to empower children to become productive contributors
  to society in an ever-changing world; to that end, Mr. CeBallos
  works closely with other school board members, as well as with
  parents, teachers, and community leaders, to set policies that
  promote a learning environment in which all students have a chance
  to thrive; and
         WHEREAS, This notable Texan has demonstrated a truly
  exemplary commitment to area students and brings a set of skills and
  a range of experience that contribute immeasurably to the
  successful operation of Sanger ISD; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Russel CeBallos for
  his service as a member of the Sanger Independent School District
  Board of Trustees and extend to him sincere appreciation for his
  outstanding service to the community; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. CeBallos as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
