H.R. No. 715

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Midway Independent School District honored
three outstanding employees with the Extra Mile Award in October
2014; and
WHEREAS, The Extra Mile Award is given to individuals who
benefit students and further the mission of Midway ISD by going
above and beyond the call of duty in the course of their work;
fitting recipients of this notable honor, Ronnie Wallace is a bus
driver for South Bosque Elementary School, Christe Hancock is the
librarian at Speegleville Elementary School, and Marva Harrison is
an assistant in the Disciplinary Alternative Education Placement
Success Lab; and
WHEREAS, Those individuals who give generously of their time
and talents strengthen the organizations in which they work, and it
is a pleasure to recognize these dedicated professionals for their
contributions to Midway ISD; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Ronnie Wallace, Christe Hancock,
and Marva Harrison on their receipt of the Midway Independent
School District Extra Mile Award and extend to them sincere best
wishes for continued success in their important work; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
for the award winners as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
